Seriously?!

Look closely. Can you see what I see?

Yeah, that's a grey hair folks! I am almost 30 after all. One would think that I would just pluck it out but I'm strangely proud of it.

The Complete Package

Now that we have a beautiful new TV, we needed something nicer looking to put it on. We found this entertainment center on Craigslist for $100 AND the guy delivered it to our house 45 minutes away! We are very happy with how our living room looks now. We still need to find some sucker to buy our old TV.

A New TV!

Nathaniel and I have talked about replacing our humongous 300 lb TV for a while now, but we wanted to wait until the prices dropped on the flat screens.

Nathanial bravely ventured out on Black Friday in hopes of finding a good deal...and found one!

Now how do we fill all the extra space in our living room? Hmmmm.

Thanksgiving Day

Nathaniel and I enjoyed Thanksgiving at his parent's house this year.
We were joined by my sister-in-law Laya, her daughter Mya, her boyfriend Gary and my brothers, Mark and Matt.

First, I stopped by Everett to pick up Mark and Matt and to say hi to my buddy, Lyla.

Dinner was so delicious that I forgot to take pictures of it. Trish and Laya did a fantastic job.

After dinner we all ate way too much dessert and played Mexican Train dominoes for 3 hours.

Yes, that is "Better than Robert Redford". We ate all but 4 pieces

On our way to Maryland

We all went to visit Holly and Scott in Maryland. Emily's husband was so kind to get up at 3 in the morning to drive Emily and me to the airport on Wednesday. We connected in Salt Lake City where we met Laura and and Mom, and we all flew together on the same row to Baltimore. So much fun! This trip has reunited me with my three sisters, my mom with her three sisters, and cousins Noah and Lyla. The babies were born only 4 days apart, so it has been a lot of fun seeing them interact.

My first blog

I figured it is time to join the blog club. It seems like a good way to keep in touch and will be fun to look back on later. I hope that sharing what I enjoy in life will be interesting to others.
